First and foremost, thank you to the New York Public Library, especially the Jefferson Market Library on 6th Avenue & 9th for giving me the quiet time and a desk that I needed to build out this brand.

Since moving from Australia to the madness of NYC in 2015, my family has always supported every good and bad decision I’ve made (like going on a singles edition of Chopped when I had never actually seen an episode of the show and can’t really cook).

So, when it came to me wanting to try and launch a start-up in arguably one of the hardest cities in the world, I turned to Paps and Caz for advice. Without hesitation, they encouraged me to start this business and from thereon in, they’ve been some of my biggest supporters.

Golden Hour was created from the Australian way of life where people tend to have the highest quality of life scores anywhere in the world. Inspired from the ethos of 'no worries' stress-free, live-life-to-the- fullest, Golden Hour aims to enhance people’s mental and physical wellbeing - in early stages, our brand’s DNA was centered around ‘bringing more joy’ to life.

Now, five brand guidelines later, the sentiment remains, we hope to be a catalyst for people being able to enjoy the most out of their life.

We’re truly a family owned and operated business, something I take great pride in. So when you wear that piece of Golden Hour merch or devour that function-enhanced product, just know there’s a little family business thanking you for your support.
